Salmon is the number one fish in the world and an essential part of any kitchen or household. Most salmon is farmed in the Norwegian Fjords. Salmon has a high fat content and is therefore one of the most well-known fish species for smoking. This fish is also rich in vitamin D and Omega 3 fatty acids. Vishandel Klooster smokes the salmon warm on beech wood and it is suitable for various dishes and salads. It can be eaten cold (room temperature) or warm. Sustainability is an important factor, which is why the salmon is marked with the ASC sustainability logo.
